In loving memory of Thomas Roy Reaux

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas Roy Reaux (Tommy) ,77 who passed away on July 20, 2026 at St. Joseph Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Years prior to the Carpenter House, Thomas self admitted into Mid City Nursing Facility/Rehab in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Thomas was born on February 9, 1949 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Lena Helen Reaux. He spent most of his life in Kaplan Louisiana where he would later enlist into the United States Military (Marine Corps). He was later Honorably Discharged in July, 1975. Throughout his life he was known for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor and being a very dedicated person. Earlier on in life Thomas worked as a concrete truck driver for many years. Outside of work Thomas enjoyed fishing, music, helping others, and spending time with family and friends.

Thomas leaves behind to cherish his memory; his daughter, Shannon Lachelle Reaux of Kaplan, Louisiana, his granddaughter, Alexandra Reaux of Lafayette, Louisiana, His Ex-Wife and life long friend, Sheila Jules of Kaplan, Louisiana, his stepdaughter, Errika Jules of Houston Texas, two step grandchildren, Sydnee and Erick, one step great-grandchild, Reubee, of Houston Texas, he also leaves behind a beloved niece Linda Perro of Lafayette, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Helen Reaux Davis, two sisters, Emma Perro and Lynda Mary Ann Davenport and his maternal grandparents Harvey and Mary Ozite Mouton.

Thomas will be remembered for his unconditional love for his daughter Shannon and his granddaughter Alexandra. He will forever be in their hearts and memories.

Tommy, Never Forgotten.
