A ceremony celebrating the life of Thomas J. Daniel, will be held on 5 pm Saturday at First Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, 8036 Lockhart Road, Denham Springs;
Thomas Jefferson Daniel IV (Tommy) was born June 18th, 1935, in Hot Springs, AR and went on to gain his heavenly reward at the age of 86 on August 24th, 2021. He was the son of Thomas Jefferson Daniel Jr. and Helen Heft Daniel. Tommy was a faithful member of the First Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Denham Springs, Louisiana for more than 50 years. Tommy was also the owner of “Daniel Custom Upholstery” for more than 40 years. Within this time, he gained many lifelong friends and was a help to many. His faithful decision to God, his family, and church was very much known and will be greatly missed. Outside of Tommy’s commitment to his community and church he enjoyed studying history and reading.
Goldie Shirley Jones Daniel, Tommy’s first wife passed at the age of 74 years old. He then was married to Wanzie Juanita Duncan Daniel for 10 years before going on to be with the Lord.
He was a proud father to
Sherry Lynn Soley, Karen Jean Daniel, and T.J Daniel (Rhonda).
He was a brother to
Dianna Jeffers, Sandra Dudley (Larry), and Buddy Ray Daniel (Barbara).
Tommy was blessed with eight grandchildren
Charles Fritz (Candida), Zachary Sandlin (Ramona), Benjamin Sandlin, Christy Michelle Fritz-LeBlanc (Robert), Jeremy Sandlin (Brooke), Lauren Soley Landry (Adam), Breanna Daniel, and Joshua Daniel.
Tommy was also fortunate enough to have fourteen great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and had numerous nieces and nephews.
