Sandra Fae Facundus Burger, age 72, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, at her home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Born on March 24, 1953, Sandra was a proud graduate of Denham Springs High School, Class of 1971. During her time there, she was honored as Homecoming Queen, a member of the Jackettes dance team, a multi-sport athlete, and recipient of countless accolades that reflected her spirit, talent, and dedication.
Sandra went on to build a distinguished 30-year career with Louisiana USA Federal Credit Union, where she was deeply admired for her kindness, commitment, and unwavering dedication to helping others.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Elbert and Virginia Facundus of Denham Springs, Louisiana.
Sandra is survived by her devoted husband of 20 years, Raymond Burger; her beloved sister, Sheila Facundus Euculano and husband Charlie; and her children: Son, Bruce Wyeth Easterly and wife Reba, and their children: Alexandra, Dawson, and RaeLynn Easterly; Daughter, Jacqueline Goff Rivera and husband Michael, and their children: Hannah and Caleb Berryhill; Daughter, Theresa “Tess” Goff Mora and husband Daniel; Stepson, Edward Burger, his partner Cheri Todd, and his daughter Kennedy
She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, spanning not only her beloved Louisiana, but across the country and beyond.
Sandra will be lovingly remembered for her generous heart, radiant smile, and the deep, abiding love she shared with all who knew her. She lived her life with grace, strength, and quiet devotion to those she held dear.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Daytona Beach, Florida, a place Sandra cherished and dreamed of spending her final days.
