Mom, you had such a compassionate nature and a servant’s heart. And you had an amazing ability to see God’s hand in the beauty of nature. I’ll never forget the time you pointed out some white, fluffy clouds drifting across an expanse of blue sky and said, ‘It’s such a shame most people don’t take the time to enjoy all the beautiful things God has given us.’

Mom, you were the most beautiful part of my life, and I miss you deeply. I hold on to the knowledge that I will see you again one day, in a place whose splendor far surpasses anything I can imagine.

Until we meet again, I’ll hold you close in my heart.
