Kattie Rose Morgan, 88, a resident of Ponchatoula Community Center, and longtime resident of Hammond LA as well as retired employee of Elmer Candy Co. of Ponchatoula LA passed away peacefully at North Oaks Hospital on January 28, 2024, following an extended illness. She was born January 6, 1936, the daughter of the late Kelly Michael Rosata, Sr.; mother, Rose Costanza Rosata.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday February 1, 2024, at The River Church 11005 Hwy 442 Tickfaw, LA 70466 from 9:30am – 11am with funeral service beginning at 11am. Burial immediately following at The River Church cemetery.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Terry Fauntleroy (David), Carol Calmes (Dennis) and son Jerry “Tony” Morgan (Michelle); grandchildren - JJ Morgan, Douglas Morgan (Courtney) Brennan Morgan (Taylor), Noah Morgan, Jennifer Johnson (Lynn), Alicia Hicks (Kasey), Bryan Ashcraft (Arin), great grandchildren Olivia Johnson, Victoria Johnson, Averlyn Johnson, Braelynn Cobb, Collin Morgan, Bryan Answorth, Aurbrey Ashcraft, Owen Ashcraft, and three great- great-grandchildren, Colten Barber, Conner Barber, and Fallyn Morgan along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by eight sisters and three brothers along with grandson, Shannon Cloud, great-granddaughter, Laura Morgan and daughter-n-law, Laura Jean Morgan.
