Peter Leo Fonrouge passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 71 years. He was a native of Fall River, Massachusetts and a resident of Albany, Louisiana. He was a retired Police Officer, Fire Fighter, and Iron Worker, He also served in the Navy and Army Reserves.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Eleanor Fonrouge, a daughter Spring Fonrouge, and a grandson Logan Shaughnessy.
Peter is survived by his wife, Cara “Candy” Fonrouge, daughters Danielle Fonrouge, Angelle Fonrouge, Chantel Weber (Jeffrey), and Lauren Lombas (Thomas), sons Elijah Fonrouge, and Kevin Lombas (Melinda), grandchildren Aubrielle, Breshawn Jr., and Addysin McDonald, Jaxx Shaughnessy, Josiah Osterman, Hagen Rager, Gabrielle and Jessica Ballard, Logan, Elizabeth, and Margaret Weber, Branson Lombas, Devin Alexander, and Damon Hayden, a brother Philip Fonrouge (Rhonda).
Peter was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by many.
