My name is Katrina L Augillard and I am the eldest child of Myrtle Ann Weston Alexander. She is also survived by her remaining children Chadwick L Alexander, Alex D Alexander and Elisa C Alexander. It is my honor to tell you about the exceptional woman we were lucky enough to call "Mama." Myrtle Ann Weston Alexander was born on January 27, 1956 and God called her home with him on March 29, 2020 at the age of 64. One may wonder how one Woman had as many variations of her name. Well, this shows just how LOVING she was and how she gave that LOVE back in return to others. This exceptional woman was offered her hand in marriage not once, not twice, but three times. This is one of many qualities we admired about Mama. Her free Will and Spirit was simply amazing. She never gave up on anything just because it may have not worked out the first time. Needless to say, she has imposed many of those same great qualities unto us as her children. We couldn't be more grateful to have them. She was a Go Getter and a Fighter. And yes, she definitely fought until this end. Mama was the baby of 12 whom all have already passed on before her. Our mother is at peace and is now resting among her mother, her father and her siblings which all have been awaiting her arrival in heaven. In spite of the many adversities she may have encountered here on Earth, our mother has definitely earned her wings in Heaven. Mama was well respected by many that personally knew her regardless of her not having a glamorous career or any school degrees. Our mother never ever met a stranger, this I know in fact. She proved that you don't have to pursue some great calling beyond, just be able to have the ability to LOVE the people around you. The impact of this is powerful in itself. Let's celebrate her by carrying on her legacy by making the people around us feel special and LOVED every day and by making friends wherever we go in life. Mama, we LOVE you more than any words could ever be expressed. Until we meet again. May God continue to bless you all.
