On behalf of the family, we thank you for visiting the campaign memorial page. We appreciate memorials made in their memory. They will sincerely appreciate it.
Maureen was born in Brooklyn, New York, on January 10, 1945 and died May 16, 2025. She attended Catholic grammar school, Sacred Heart Academy and Charity School of Nursing, all with her younger sister, Barbara.

Maureen worked in the medical field at Bryn Mawh Hospital in Pennsylvania for over 20 years. After her husband, Peter Miller, died, Maureen wanted to move to Baton Rouge, LA in 1999 to be with her beloved sister, Mrs. Barbara Mahoney Helm. Maureen then became an important member of Barbara's family.

Maureen also leaves her sons, Bryan and Brad, and her granddaughter, Elaina. She leaves her sister-in-law Rachel Mahoney as well as her friends, Kathleen and Gervis Wyble, Allyson Walker and Lavonne Hatch.

Maureen has received special blessings over these years by Father Manny Fernandez, who also administered her final blessings. Maureen's long illness began last August after which she became even a most devout Catholic and would ask Barbara to bring her daily Holy Communion.

We thank Luke Corsten, MD, Adrian Landry, MD, and the staff of the Burden Manor and of Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.

The Funeral Holy Mass will be offered by Bishop Emeritus, Robert W. Muench, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church at 10 a.m. of Friday, May 30", with visitation at 8:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Maureen would like Masses as a "spiritual bouquet"

In lieu of flowers, family and friends of Maureen Mahoney Miller who prefer to provide a memorial contribution may do so. The family will use these to honor Maureen Mahoney Millers life and memory. Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts throughout this challenging time.
