Margaret Roberts, a loving wife and devoted Catholic, passed away on August 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Margaret shared 64 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jerry, the love of her life. Together, they built a lifetime of beautiful memories.
They shared a love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting together. They also loved to travel, taking cruises and bus tours they organized for groups.
Although their adventures took them to many wonderful places, Margaret's favorite thing of all was simply holding Jerry's hand. Their enduring love and devotion to one another were an inspiration to everyone who knew them.
Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Babin; her brother, Herbert W. Babin; her mother-in-law, LaVergne Roberts; her father-in-law, Ferron Roberts, Sr.; and her beloved daughter, Rene' Roberts.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Roberts; her daughter, Jean Heaslip; her son-in-law, Kyle Heaslip; and her granddaughters, Hunter Heaslip and Riely Heaslip.
She will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her faith and family, and the extraordinary love she shared with Jerry. Margaret leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, cherished memories, and a love that will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
Margaret's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her care team-Dee, Lisa, Kora, Jay, and Carey-for the exceptional physical and spiritual care they provided. Their loving care will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Mercy church on August 19th with visitation at 9:00 am and service to follow at 10:00 am.
