Margaret Lee Durbin (Mom, MoMo D, Maw D) passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Denman Estess and Harvey Brumfield Estess; her siblings, Carl (BoBo) Estess and Martha Butler; and her beloved husbands, William Donald “Doc” Smith and Harold Vern Durbin. She is survived by her children: Selinda Jarnevic (husband James Jarnevic), Edwin Smith (wife Trudy Smith), Rhonda Reeves (husband Mike Reeves), and Barry Durbin (wife Ashley Durbin). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Margaret was a living example of a servant’s heart, whose kindness touched everyone who knew her. She found great joy in spending time with family and sharing her faith with others. She also had a passion for sewing, cooking, and crocheting. Every handmade stitch and home-cooked meal was prepared with love. She was a devoted Christian, prayer warrior, and faithful member of Central Baptist Church. She lived her faith daily, and was a blessing to all those around her. While her presence will be forever missed, the family finds peace in knowing she is in heaven reunited with loved ones and resting in the loving arms of the Lord.
