Mamie “Cookie” Wagner, who loved to be called ‘Momma’ and ‘Mawmaw’ departed her loving family on September 7th, 2021 in Hammond, Louisiana.

Cookie was born in Independence, Louisiana on June 3rd, 1955 to William and Emma Dell Addison.

Cookie was a mother to Mark Temple, William Temple, Tiffany Talbert and Leigh Anne Watts. She raised her children with love and devotion in Albany, Louisiana.

As a homemaker, Cookie was known for very nurturing personality, generous heart and a smile that would brighten anyone’s day. She loved being with family, cooking, being outdoors and sharing stories of fond memories. She was extremely proud of her family and her roots.

Cookie is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Andrew David Wagner, parents William and Emma Dell Addison, brother Donny “Sam Bo” Addison, sister Barbara “Bobbie” Addison, sister-in-law Carolyn Forbes Addison, and niece Jackie Addison.

Aside from the children she doted on, Cookie is survived by her brother, James “Bo” Addison, thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several other nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Gatlin Cemetery in Baptist, Louisiana on September 14th, 2021 at 12:00 PM. Anyone who would like to show their respects are welcome to join us in the celebration of life.
