Linda Michael, born on March 4th, 1954, passed away on July 8th, 2026 in Baton Rouge after a courageous battle against illness.
She was a huge LSU football fan and never missed a game. Once, on a mother-daughter day outing, she even got to meet several real LSU players by chance, and it lit her day up! She learned to become stronger after the birth of her third daughter, while learning the ins and outs of the medical field. She took care of all of daughters the best ways she knew how.
Even to the end, Linda put up a hell of a fight. Once she became too tired and became too weakened, she knew it was time. She made her arrangements with her loved ones, she made sure everyone would be okay, and her family reassured her this would be true. As she let go, she knew she was surrounded by all the love in the world with her family by her side. She inspired all of her daughters to keep her memory as it was before and showed them how to come back stronger.
She was survived by her daughters, Jena Michael (Jesse Bogard) and Bridgette A. Falgoust (Kenny M.), grandkids Sal W. Wheat (Kaylin), Branton B. Williams, Ethan O. Williams, Catherine M. Queen, Gage M. Queen, Cush R. Lee, Dylan S. Lee; great-grandchildren Justice W. Bossier, Sage M. Bossier, Addyson R. Siears, and Bekah E. Carson; brothers Mackie I. Bonnette (April), Ronnie J. Bonnette (Mary Ann), as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by parents Rosario S. Militello, Enell G. Militello, biologicals Elda M. Lachney and Mackie M. Bonnette, brother Gerald R. Bonnette, daughter Michelle M. Wheat, and grandson Sydney M. Lee.
