Linda Charmaine Festervan Bauer was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on September 20, 1947. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Donald Emil Bauer; her parents, Gene and Lillian Festervan; two sisters, Peggy Patterson and Joyce McCaa, and her beloved brother, Richard Lee Mizzell. She is survived by her only child, her precious daughter, Stacey (Joey) Poche; a granddaughter, Brooke (Joe) Shifflett; grandson, Braydon Poche; great grandchildren, Brantson, Savannah, and Adaya; close nephews and niece along with other family members and many special friends. Linda had a huge heart for her family and friends; especially for strangers and the homeless. She had an unwaivering desire for everyone that she came in contact with to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Linda was a faithful prayer warrior and a beautiful spirit-filled child of God who has left such legacy of faith and an example to follow. Linda received a complete healing Thursday, June 5, 2025, when Jesus lovingly wrapped her in His arms and carried her home. Her life will be celebrated Tuesday, June 10th at 1 p.m. at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, where she served as a secretary and in other capacities for many years.
