It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kristopher “Kris” Andrues. Kris passed away on 10/02/2025 at the age of 48 from Metastatic Lung Cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Nichole Andrues; children, Sage Andrues and Nicholas Andrues; parents, David Andrues (Karen) and Gaynel Parker (Mac); sisters, Melissa Wright and Anastasia “Cryssie” Pofffahl; brother, Joshua Miller; nieces, Alexis Vernazza, Julianna Miller and Jacklynn “Kadee” Satcher; nephews Daven LeBourgeois, Brandon Kain, Colton Wright, Corey Wright. Zachary Gilmore and James “Kutter” Mosley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lena and Willie Andrues and Hazel and Angelo Caluda, Aunt Deborah Ducombs and cousins Amanda Ducombs, Kathleen Ducombs and Brian Ducombs.
Kris was known for being able to fix anything that was broken. His son’s friend’s, who called him Pops, would always drop by to get their cars, bikes, etc. fixed. His favorite past time was fishing. Kris was someone who would do anything for anyone without asking for anything in return. His absence leaves a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who loved him.
Services will be held on October 14, 2025. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 11:00 am, services will be from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm with a sit down lunch at 12:00 pm at The Family Life Center in front of Revival Temple Church, located at 28521 Walker South Rd. In Walker, La. 70785. The entrance to the building is facing the church. A celebration of life will be held following at Circle Park on Circle Dr. in Livingston.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends of Kristopher David Andrues who prefer to provide a memorial contribution may do so. The family will use these to honor Kris' life and memory. Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts throughout this challenging time.
