Kermit Bateman, a resident of St. Amant, Louisiana passed away peacefully at Carpenter House on June 3rd, 2026, at the age of 82. Kermit was born on August 4, 1943 to Quentin Bateman and Eva Bateman. He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Wanda Bateman. He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Rhonda Lopez and Robin Rivere (John). Mr. Kermit was a loving grandfather to his four grandchildren Nikole Lopez, Brooke Rivere, Reagan Rivere, and Jacob Rivere. Mr. Kermit loved to spend time outside, tending to his garden. Mr. Kermit will be greatly missed and will forever live on in our hearts.
