Kenith James Parault, affectionately known as Kenny, passed away on April 30, 2026, at The Crossing of Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge. Born on October 19, 1962, in Rosedale, Louisiana, Kenny lived a life marked by dedication, skill, and love for his family.
Kenny was a retired welder whose hands not only worked with precision but also carried the warmth and care that defined his character. His ability to fix anything that was broken was a testament to his patience, problem-solving nature, and determination—qualities that extended beyond his professional career into the very fabric of his everyday life.
Among all his interests, Kenny's greatest love was his grandchildren — Madelyn, Kamaryn, Kennedy, and Kaiden — who brought him immeasurable joy. Beyond family, he found solace and pleasure in hunting and fishing, activities that connected him deeply with the outdoors and his roots.
Kenny is survived by his beloved daughters: Kaylee and her husband Jarred Scioneaux, Kenlee Parault, and Keslie Parault, each carrying forward his legacy in their unique ways. A special place in his heart was reserved for Jessie "Bubba" Parault, a nephew whom Kenny raised as the son he never had, illustrating the profound generosity and kindness that defined his spirit. He is also remembered fondly by a host of nieces and nephews who benefited from his guidance and affection.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Delsa Ray Parault, his parents Jesse James Parault Jr., and Sylvia Bayham Parault, as well as his siblings Pat Brown and Jesse James "Tootie" Parault III. Their memories remain an integral part of the man Kenny was—a loving husband, son, and brother.
Kenith James Parault’s life was a rich tapestry woven with hard work, unwavering love for his family, and a commitment to helping those around him. His passing leaves a void deeply felt by all who knew him, yet his memory continues to inspire warmth, resilience, and devotion.
He will be sincerely missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
A celebration of life ceremony will be announced at a later date.
Special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Clarity Hospice for taking such great care of him.
