“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV). Kayla Rae Scivicque, a native and resident of Gonzales, passed away November 21, 2021, at the age 37. Kayla was loved and cherished by many and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her son, Travis “TJ” Richardson; stepdad, Troy “Tub” Melancon; sister, Tessa Guerin (Roland); brother, Jason Scivicque; stepsister, Carly Melancon; stepbrother, Destin Melancon; a niece, 6 nephews, 4 great-nieces, a great-nephew, and many other friends and family. She is preceded in death by mother, Diane Melancon; father, Kenneth Scivicque; maternal grandparents, Leona & Frederick Morgan; and paternal grandparents, Shirley & Joseph Scivicque. A memorial to celebrate her life will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at The Church International in St Amant with visitation from 9am to 11am.

On several occasions at gatherings Kayla was happy having beautiful smiles and greetings for everyone. She always had a good time helping everyone enjoy theirselves.
