Joseph Lee Coslon Sr., a resident of Tickfaw, went to his heavenly home on Monday August 10, 2026, at the age of 76 years. Joseph was a skilled electrician and loved his business Coslan Electric. He enjoyed cooking, spending time with friends and family and making people feel like family.
Joseph leaves behind his wife, Gloria Coslan of 56 years, son Joseph Coslan Jr., (Megan), daughter Stormy Jo Coslan (Sloane), grandchildren Jospeh Lee Coslan III, Jorda Lee Coslan, Jasmyn Lane Coslan, and Kristian Grayer Joseph Vicknair, and numerous great grandchildren. Also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, brother-in-law Donald Pittman, and lifelong friend Gasper “Butch” Sciortino.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jennie Coslan and Jacob Arthur Coslan, mother-in-law Lydia Inez Wallace Thompson, father-in-law Lawrence Cline Thompson, brothers Jack E. and John C. Coslan, daughter Kristiina Ann Coslan Traylor, and granddaughter Jaidyn Lane Coslan.
A ceremony celebrating Joe’s life will be held on Saturday August 15, 26, at Victory in Prayer Outreach Church, visitation will begin at 9:30 am until time of the service at 11:00 am.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Steve Gaudin of North Oaks, Dr. Hymo Nitz of OLOLRMC, and the care team of OLOLRMC, along with Pastor Cherie Ard and Michael Matthews with Jease Name Lighthouse Church Tickfaw.
