In lieu of flowers, family and friends of Jeffrey Wayne Wade who prefer to provide a memorial contribution may do so. The family will use these to honor Jeffrey Wayne Wades life and memory. Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts throughout this challenging time.
“I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he
dies.”
John 11: 25
Jeffrey Wayne Wade, a resident of Zachary, Louisiana was called home to heaven
by his Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Jeff served in the U.S. Navy
on the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier for three years. After his Navy service, he
began a career as Land Surveyor working for several survey contractors in Louisiana
and Florida. For the past fifteen years he worked doing HVAC maintenance, house
painting, and lawn care services for numerous Sr. adults and widows in the Zachary
community. It is no secret that Jeff struggled for much of his adult life with substance
abuse. But, it is also no secret that Jeff was a kind-hearted, loving, gentle soul who
loved people and was well-loved in return by people. Even in the midst of his struggles,
Jeff never lost his love for Jesus, his family, or his church family. Jeff will be greatly
missed by his family and friends. A few of the things we will miss the most is Jeff’s
sweet spirit, his beautiful smile that would light up a room, and his great big bear hugs.
He is survived by two sisters: Penny Fletcher and husband, Andy; Janet Blount and
husband, Craig; a brother, Bobby Wade and wife, Jo Leah; many nieces and nephews.
Jeff was preceded in death by his loving parents, Robert and Carol Wade. We are forever
grateful to our Wonderful, Merciful, Savior who held Jeff fast throughout his 67 years,
and has now welcomed him to his eternal home in heaven, never to struggle again.

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth,
nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.” Romans 8: 38 & 39
