A ceremony celebrating the life of Jason Andrew Clifton will be 11 am Saturday at The Church Life House, St James; visitation will begin at 9:30 am.
Jason was born on December 8, 1981 in Thibodaux, LA and passed from this life on Monday August 24, 2020 at the age of 38 years.
He enjoyed watching movies, music, football, and fishing. His passion was attending church.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents C. A. Clifton Sr., Eli Joseph Giroir and Edna Giroir.
Survivors include his mother Phyllis Booker; father Chris Clifton (Ramona), sister Rebecca Clifton, grandmother Doris Clifton, aunt (his second mom) “Nanny” Kat Bonadona, nephew (son) Sage Clifton; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Jason was a very special person. I've never had a real family growing up, and I am proud he referred to me as family. That was gigantic to me. We shared a lot of laughs, good times and he will be missed very dearly.

Jason was my buddy. One of the last memorable moments with him was the weekend before he passed. He placed his arms around me and Jason S. and said, "You two are my brothers. I love you". The sense of real family.

Jason was special to me, coached him in his first year in baseball and coached him in basketball when he was young. Always a joy to see him over the years but what a blessing that God would have him in my life these last six months. I have peace knowing that he is in the Lord's presence.
