Everett Paul Lambert was born on March 18, 1956, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He passed away on June 8, 2026, in Gonzales, Louisiana, at the age of 70. Throughout his life, Everett worked as a Millwright with Local 720, dedicating his career to skilled craftsmanship and hard work.
Everett had a deep love for fishing and gardening, passions that brought him peace and joy. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family and grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Penny M Lambert, and their daughters Amy Vierck (Scotty) and Ginger LeBlanc (Jeff). He also leaves behind his brothers Robert, Darrell, and Tony Lambert (Rene), and his sisters Sherry Darr and Tami Sarfaraz. Everett's extended family includes his brother-in-law Kevin Morgan and sister-in-law Patti Morgan, who hold many fond memories of him. Many affectionately called him Paw Paw, a name that reflected the warmth and kindness he showed to his loved ones, including numerous nieces and nephews.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents Junnie Mae Crockett and Daniel Lambert.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at St John the Evangelist in Prairieville, Louisiana, located at 15208 LA-73. Visitation will take place on June 12, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., followed immediately by a Mass at 11:30 a.m. The burial service will be held at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park, also in Prairieville at 15304 LA-73 immediately following. All are welcome to the reception being held at St. John the Evangelist following the burial.
Everett’s legacy of love, dedication, and joyful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of calling him Paw Paw. In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations to be made in his memory to the Special Olympics of Louisiana and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
