A ceremony celebrating the life of Elizabeth Devall Aucoin will be held on Saturday October 7, 2023, at Indian Mound Baptist Church, 16755 Liberty Road, Greenwell Springs, LA 70739, visitation will begin at 10 am until time of service at 11 am.
Mrs. Aucoin was born on June 29, 1942, in Baton Rouge, she graduated from Redemptorist High School and worked with the East Baton Rouge Parish School Food Service; she loved to cook and fellowship. She enjoyed her Sunday School Class and all the ladies in it. Her favorite thing to do was serve the Lord and witness to everyone she could. She was a devoted friend to countless others. She never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face. She will be remembered as a prayer warrior.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Robin Aucoin, parents Norman and Hilda Devall, and a brother Donald “Bub” Devall.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years Andrew Aucoin Jr, whom she married December 2, 1963, her granddaughter Teri Aucoin, great grandson Landon Aucoin, brother John Devall and his wife Sylvia, she was an aunt to 8 nieces and nephews, with many great nieces and nephews who she loved an adored and looked forward to seeing on Sunday. But she was most proud to be the great grandmother to Landon. She will always be loved and missed dearly.
