Doris Louise Truax Tyler, born on Feb 09, 1944, passed away peacefully at her home in Clinton Thursday December 29th, 2022, at the age of 78.
Visitation will be held at Revival Temple in Walker La. from 11 am to 1 pm and service begin at 1:00 pm.
Doris was an amazing wife, Mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to anyone and everyone she met. She never met a stranger. Doris was always smiling and had to give you a huge hug.
she had an unconditional love for all animals especially her " Buster"
Doris graduated from DSHS & Retired from LPSB. She was an elementary school bus driver who loved her babies, and they loved her as well. She was that silly bus driver that all children loved. She had hundreds of stories about her babies that rode on her bus (#56). She also had a passion for bowling and bowled on a League for many years.
She is survived by her husband John Glen Tyler, and 3 children David Babin, (Renee) Lynn Kinchen (Keith) and Johnette Ross, (Scott), 8 grandchildren. Brooks and Blaze Kinchen, Tyler & Torie Ross, Jordyn & Joseph Babin, Meagan Sibley, and Trey Babin, 4 step grandchildren Ciera parker, Priscilla Hampton, Damon Parker, Dillyn Parker, and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Roy Martin Jr. Babin Marty, her parents, Wison R Truax & Viola Truax, siblings Irene Boureguard, Emily Dixon, Leroy Cardon, Lloyd, and Ronnie Truax.
Doris was a devoted wife, mother, & grandmother.
She loved to cook, camp, fish, bowl, and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She dedicated her life to her family and will be missed by everyone that knew her. Maw Maw Doris, we all love you very much and will carry you in our hearts forever. until we meet again, RIP our Beautiful Mother
