A ceremony celebrating the life of David J. Baronet will be held on Saturday May 24, 2025, at Holden Baptist Church, visitation will begin at 4:00 pm until time of service at 5:00 pm. Interment will follow at Larry Courtney Family Cemetery, Holden.

David was on August 30th, 1972, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to parents Willie and Dorothy Baronet. He was born sixth of eight children. David enjoyed and was proud of being from a large family. Some of his favorite pastimes was watching movies with his mom and playing sports at Lafayette high. David loved being a husband to Angela, a father to Grant, and he had a newfound love for being a grandfather to Medley.

He is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Guidry Baronet, mother-in-law Sharon Green Courtney, and a niece Honor Banks Malcolm.

Left to cherish his memory his loving wife Angela Courtney Baronet, son Grant Baronet and wife Montori, granddaughter Medley Baronet, father willie Baronet, siblings William Baronet (Tanya), Marc Baronet (Lauren), Jenna Malcolm (Bob), Laurie Baronet (Keith), Blaine Baronet (Lyndsay), Christine Daigle, Neal Baronet (Alishia), father-in-law Larry Courtney, sisters-in-law Krystal Courtney (Jacyn), Kassie Courtney Binkley (Daniel), also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Honored to serve as pallbearers, Grant Baronet, Neal Baronet, Jacyn Hughes, Daniel Binkley, Luke Patterson, and Aldo Trevino.
