Always willing to help however she could—whether through prayer, encouragement, or simply showing up for others.
She loved her family deeply, especially her sons, Jim Perkins (wife Tracey) and John Perkins. Her love also extended far beyond blood, blessing those around her with the warmth of chosen family. Among those who will miss her dearly are her beloved friends Susan and Steve Hayes, their daughters Kristi and Sarah, along with their spouses, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren—each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Dianne’s life was filled with the beauty of simple joys: painting and creating art, caring for her beloved cats, serving in her church, and lifting others up in prayer. She was a true prayer warrior, a great friend, and a living example of Christ’s love.
She is preceded in death by her cherished parents, Johnny and Annabelle Johnson Whitehead, who she now joins in eternal peace. Though our hearts ache with loss, we rejoice knowing Dianne is now healed and whole in the presence of Jesus—the One she loved most.
A celebration of Dianne’s life will be held at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church on October 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather and honor her legacy of faith, service, and love.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the JOY Club, the Senior Adult Ministry at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church—a ministry close to Dianne’s heart.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your
