A ceremony celebrating the life of Clayton David Ard will be held on Wednesday March 27, 2024, at Victory in Prayer Outreach Ministries with visitation beginning at 1 pm until time of the funeral service at 3 pm. Interment will follow at New Hope Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

Clayton David Ard was born on November 2, 1964, in Amite, La, and he passed away on March 25, 2024, in Loranger, La. Clayton grew up in Minnesota where he graduated from Perham High school in 1983. He later returned to Louisiana where he married Shelle Anthony and became a father of 5. Everyone who knew Clayton said that he had a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, and he was never too busy to lend a helping hand.

Clayton is survived by his children Bailey Ard Williams (Cody), Dustin Ard (Chelsea), Alyssa Ard (Troy), Caleb Ard, and Ethan Ard. His grandchildren Justin, Bryton, Eli, Luke, and Lexi Ard. His mother, Thelma Nordby Ard. His siblings Olaf Ard (Dawn), Luther Ard (Cherie), Duane Ard (Lori), Kathy Ard Baker, and Tony Ard, ad many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Rosa (Piana) Reid and William (Bill) Ard, his maternal grandparents Olaf and Angeline Nordby, his father Ambers (Tush) Ard, his half-brother Dale Moore, his niece Jessie Lynn Ard, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, one of which he was extremely close with, Keith Spinks, and his best friend Joseph (J.J.) Hano.

Clayton will be missed dearly, and his memory will live on forever in the hearts of all his loved ones.
