A memorial ceremony celebrating the life of Christine Elizabeth Gautreau Kennedy will be 11 am Monday August 16, 2021 at First United Pentecostal Church Denham Springs.
Tickin was born on June 13, 1954, in New Orleans and passed from this life on July 29, 2021, at Ochsner University Medical Center Lafayette. She was a past resident of Denham Springs, and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed roses, spending time with her family, and reading the Bible.
She is preceded in death by her Robert Kennedy, son Robert Kennedy Jr., parents Mitchel and Betty Gautreau.
Survivors include her sons Micheal, Stephen, Shane, Kim, and Christopher Kennedy, daughter Chrystal Wright, sisters Debbie Traylor, and Cynthia McDonald, brothers Lonnie, Mitchel Jr., and David Gautreau, also survived by 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews.
Her favorite bible verses Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Ms. Christine was a beautiful soul! I have so many messages throughout the years where she would check up on me and never ended a conversation without saying “I love you”. She will be sadly missed.

The thing I will miss most is the daily call or message online that Mrs.Christine would send me. Every single day without fail she would say she loved me, her son and her grandchildren. She was a beautiful soul and I know that heaven has gained a beautiful angel that will watch over her family always.

Mrs Christine was one of my mom's best friends from the time I was 5 til the time my mom passed and she still always checked on me every so often she was a great woman

I'll never forget the 1st time we met because I didn't even know we were family. We were all cousins running around together and didn't know it and when my dad saw us playing with Robbie and tuti he told us we should meet their mom and the rest of the family we never knew about. Had we never moved to Bellaire way back when i was in high school we probably would have never met but I am so glad we had the little time we had together ❤ thats when we met Chrystal Kennedy Wright ❤ too and I miss everyone so much everyday 😢 my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I know Robbie is happy to have his mom home with him in heaven ❤ and my little brother Keith in heaven im sure was there to greet her along with Robbie.
