Charlotte Stafford Borne, a resident of Maurepas, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on July 21, 2021. She was born on July 12, 1960, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was an avid LSU fan and St. Jude supporter. Reading was also one of her favorite pastimes. She loved life and her family and friends and was loved in return.
She was a retired administrative assistant to the late Senator, Clo Fontenot. She graduated from Walker High School and Baton Rouge Radiology School.
She was the beloved wife of A.P. Borne. The beloved mother of Brandi Turland (Matthew), Ryan Stewart (Misty), and Garrett Stewart; beloved stepmother to Terry Borne (Candy), Scott Borne, Misty Bunch (Daryl), Chelsa Scott (Rick), and Jonathan Borne (Natalie). She was the beloved daughter of Kenneth O. Stafford; the beloved sister of Debbie King (Keith), Tonya Landry (Sam), and Kathy Lockhart (Johnny). Beloved grandmother of Nathaniel, Zoe, Brennan, and Evan Turland, Tyson, Camryn, Malin, Savannah and Jude Stewart, Christina Smith, Nicholas, Zachary, Jessica, Bentz, Brooklyn, and Logan Borne, Sullivan Ould Salha, Abbigail, Madison, and Hannah Bunch, Jesse and Shane Demars, and Mackenzie Scott, and beloved great grandmother of 3 beautiful great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dianne Bunch Stafford, and grandparents Rev. Frank “Bo” and Hazel Bunch, and Joe and Camille Stafford.
A ceremony celebrating the life of Charlotte will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 12 noon at Revival Temple Church in Walker. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.
