Barry Anthony Vosburg was born on June 10, 1960, in New Roads, Louisiana, and passed away peacefully at his home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on October 12, 2026.
Barry was a man with a generous heart who found joy in helping others. Whether it was his clients, friends, family, or even a stranger in need, Barry was always willing to lend a hand. His kindness, willingness to help, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on the many lives he touched.
In his earlier years, Barry worked as a personal trainer at Foxy’s, where he shared his passion for fitness and helping others reach their goals. He later owned and operated his own lawn care business for 20 years. During that time, he built more than a successful business—he built lasting friendships with his clients.
Barry had several passions that brought him happiness. He loved working out, spending time at the beach, and playing music. Later in life, he learned how to play the guitar and piano.
For more than 10 years, Barry attended The Chapel in Baton Rouge, which was an important part of his life and faith.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Steven Vosburg and Ella Mae “Granny” Soileau.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Vosburg; his son, Eric Vosburg; his brothers, Kurt Vosburg (Janet) and Troy Vosburg; his sisters, Dawn McWilliams (Jake) and Jamie Orlando (Dominick); his niece, Sarah Kitch; and his nephews, Nathan Vosburg, Aaron Vosburg, Seth Parker, Brett Malloy, uncles, aunts, and many family members. He also leaves behind many dear friends and former clients who became an important part of his life.
