Anthony (Tony) Wayne Wilkinson, 56, a native of Walker and resident of Lillie, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at his home on June 15, 2026.
Tony was the successful owner and pharmacist of Thrift Town Drugs. He was also a man of deep Baptist faith and an avid hunter and fisherman. Some of his finest days were spent on his beloved property in Lillie, enjoying the outdoors he loved so much. He also loved playing golf and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jennifer Bennett Wilkinson; daughters, Taylor Wilkinson and Sarah Wilkinson; sisters, Missi Woods (Jeff), and Joelle Shelton(Eddie) parents, Sammy and Ann Wilkinson; mother-in-law, Erma Bennett, loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman and Aline (Wilkie) Wilkinson and Alan and Beatrice Peak; father-in-law, Frankie Bennett; and nephew, Matthew Woods.
A graveside service will be held at Minton Cemetery in Walker on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.
Services will be conducted by Annette Gordon. Pallbearers will be Jeff Woods, Jeff Fletcher, Colby Bennett, Daniel Farrar, Dwayne Ferguson, Spencer Coburn, Eric Elliott, Calvin Barcomb and honorary pallbearer Jerry Barron.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Southern Grace Hospice for their compassionate care, support, and kindness during Tony’s final days.
In lieu of flowers, Tony requested donations be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, a ministry near and dear to his heart. Donations can be made online through their website.
