A ceremony celebrating the life of Alex James Hall will be held at 11 am on Tuesday February 1, 2022, at St Mark Catholic Church, visitation will begin at 9:30 am.
Alex was born on November 18, 1996, in Baton Rouge and passed from this life on Sunday January 23, 2022, in Lafayette, at the age of 25 years.
He was a resident of Gonzales, he enjoyed playing video games, and especially time spent with his family, friends, and he loved anime
Survivors include his father Carl “Pee Wee” Poirrier (Michelle), mother Crystal Hall (Raymond), grandparents Margaret and Jimmy Poirrier, Romona Branning, siblings Madison, Kaylin, Jacie, Trinity, Jordan, Tristan, and Natalie also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Alex has been a friend of mine since elementary school, and he lived with me in an apartment for almost a year after high school, surrounded by some of the most amazing memories, laughs, and one of the warmest souls ive ever met. Ill miss you forever brother.

I always loved teasing Alex about wanting to cut his hair. He loved his hair long but he did promise me if he ever cut it short that I would be the one. So, ever time I would see him. I would say, "Are you ready for the scissors to start working yet"? Of course it was always no
LOL! He would shake his hair, laugh, and say no. I will never forget that smile. Always had a smile. RIP my long hair boy.
