A ceremony celebrating the life of Billy Ray Clark will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at Wayside Pentecostal Church. Visitation will begin at 11 am until time of the service. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Clark was born in Crowville, LA on October 6, 1934 and departed from this life on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at his home after a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, retired with U S Postal Service and as a funeral attendant; a member of Wayside Pentecostal Church and served in the U S Army. He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Townsend Clark; parents; and five siblings. Survivors include his sons, Mike, Greg and wife Susie; grandsons John, Michael and Cody; brother, Woodson; also survived by nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be John Clark, Michael Clark, Cody Clark, J W Dean, Gary Lynch, Warren Wolleson, Dennis Wolleson and Caleb McDaniel. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Parker, Bernard Wolleson, Don Graham, Robert Bradley, Dan Hutto, Dave Hutto and Gerald Wolleson. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made at www.inlieuof.com/church-funeral-services/billy-ray-clark Funds will be used towards the expense of the funeral with any access funds being donated to Billy’s favorite charities. Funeral services are being conducted by Church Funeral Services Baton Rouge.
