Memorial service for Evan Christy, 14, of West Monroe, will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, January 4, 2019, in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home-911 Warren Dr, with visitation starting at 2:00 PM.
Evan, a student, was born on November 9, 2005 to the union of Elizabeth LaVerne George Christy and Christopher Earl Christy, and passed from this life on January 1, 2020. Evan enjoyed Cross Fit, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his great-great grandparents, Virginia Hale and Milton Hale; great-grandparents, Mary Virginia George and Richard George; and grandfather, Harvel Wayne Christy.
Survivors left to cherish his memory are his parents, Chris and Elizabeth Christy; siblings, Dustin Christy and wife Maren, Kayleigh LeBrun, Amanda Christy, Savannah Christy, and Hannah LeBrun; grandparents, Keith and Nelwyn George; grandmothers, Theresa Lasyone and Cheryl Kinard; and great-grandmother, LaVerne Lasyone. He is also survived by a host of friends and family.
