Racheal M. Everett, 77, of Mineola, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025. Born on December 4, 1947, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to the late Jack and Edith Edwards Cauthen, Racheal’s legacy is one of service, kindness, and dedication to her family and community.

Racheal spent 30 years as a beloved owner and barber in her own shop in Mineola, where she touched the lives of countless individuals with her skilled hands and warm heart. Many will remember her for the generations of families she served, offering a friendly ear along with a professional cut.

A devoted volunteer and member of the Pilot Club, Racheal contributed her time and talents to numerous causes, always putting others’ needs before her own. She had an infectious spirit and a kind nature that made her a cherished member of her community.

Racheal was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Edith; her loving husband, Charles Everett; and her brother, Jimmy Cauthen.

She leaves behind a family who will deeply miss her: daughters Julie Kearby and husband Craig, Rachel Marie King, and Jenifer Everett; son Charlie Everett and wife Rachel; brother Eugene; sister Lynda Griffin; and her grandchildren, Anita Williams (Jaron), Caleb Kearby (Courtney), Dylan Kearby, Daisy Kearby, Misty Kearby, Lilly Lunsford, Shea Everett, and James Everett. Additionally, she is survived by 14 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Her legacy of love, strength, and service will remain an inspiration to all who were fortunate to know her.

My deepest condolences to the family. Racheal was a dear lady. She always treated my Mother (Cliffie Dyess Tucker, deceased) with such kindness and compassion during each hair appointment. Mother and I loved and appreciated her so much. I'm praying for the family.
