Wanda is part of one my most humble memories, the Cajun Army. I didn’t know anyone and but I wanted to volunteer. Wanda was like a mother to the team on the ground. She cared about everyone else more than herself. She was genuine and clearly a woman of God. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing.

I have known Wanda since we started elementary school together. She was always so sweet to me , even long after we graduated and after reconnecting on FB.
A fond memory is She always called me “honey “.
During my own time of illness ,she reached out to me with kind words of encouragement and I always was grateful .
My condolences to her family. I am so saddened by her passing . May The Angels bring her home. And may she Rest In Peace in the loving arms of Christ.

Wanda and I are cousins on her mother's side of the family. We shared a love of family and family history. She loved our yearly Reunions, which we had just talked about in November. Rest in Peace Wanda.
