Dana Lynn Sharp was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 14th, 2021 at the age of 50. Visitation will begin on Thursday, June 17th from 6 PM – 8 PM at Bethel Tabernacle 11801 LA Hwy 449 in Greensburg, LA. Visitation will continue the following morning, Friday, June 18th at 9 AM at First Pentecostal Church, 1057 Pine Street in Turkey Creek, LA. The memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at Turkey Creek Cemetery.
Dana was born on August 15, 1970, in Ville Platte, Louisiana. She was a resident of Denham Springs, and a member of the Pentecostal Faith. She was known as the “Life of the
Party.” She enjoyed music and dancing, and especially loved family gatherings. Dana’s children and family were her passion.
She is preceded in death by her father Donnie Wayne Sharp; grandparents Otis Thrasher, David W. and Sadie L. Sharp; uncle Terry Thrasher; and first cousin Chad Thrasher.
She is survived by her children Landon, Amber, and Braydon Williams; mother Carolyn Thrasher Sharp; siblings Bridget Maher (husband, James), and Heather Sharp (Michael Grayson), grandmother Muriel C. Thrasher, nieces and nephews Brittany Broussard (husband, Michael), Brennan Maher, Megan Maher, Cade Soday, Chase Soday, and Camren Grayson, great-niece and great-nephews Emma, Michael and Mason Broussard; She is also survived by an abundance of other relatives and friends.
