Funeral service celebrating the life of Desiree Teresa Day of Downsville, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, March 14, 2021 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, with Pastor Art Beebe officiating.
Family will receive friends for visitation, 12pm until time of service at the funeral home.
Desiree was born April 5, 1978 and passed from this life March 11, 2021 at the age of 42.
She is preceded in death by Steve Gill; grandmother, Theresa Nell Gentry, and great grandfather, Richard Harry Swaggard.
Those left to cherish her memories include her mother, Kathryn Perry; step-father, Gene Hightower; daughters, Kristin Day and husband Tyler Joseph, Gracee Gill, Hope Gill, and Faith Gill; sons, Zachary Day and spouse Madison Yelverton, and Kevin Day; brother, John Paul Kelly and wife Heather; two grandchildren, Noah Joseph and Oakley Day; grandmother, Jeanette Kelly; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the St. Jude's Research Hospital.
