Jesus Jimenez Jr. died on Friday, April 15, 2022 at a local hospital

Jesus Jimenez jr. was born on March 13, 1959 to Amparro Lerma and Jesus Jimenez Sr., in Temple, Texas. He graduated from Temple High School in the 70’s. After high school he moved to Oklahoma and started plumbing. He moved to Texas where he worked for E. R Carpenter, the city of temple and worked with his brother in Martinez Plumbing. . He married his childhood sweetheart and together they started their life and retired from Morgan’s Point Parks and Rec. He was passionate about his animals to include his boys Mister Moo and Scooter. Notorious for bringing home various animals to care for. His hobbies were tinkering as a mechanic, working the yard and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jose Martinez, Manuel Martinez Jr.; one sister, Yrene Martinez; and one nephew, Roque Acosta.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Jimenez; three sons, Joseph Alexander, Jacob Alexander, Matthew Alexander, five sisters, Guadalupe “Lupe” Martinez, Suzanne Strege, Sandra Jimenez, Jessica Booth, Cynthia Jimenez, along with five grandchildren, Selena Mendoza, Christian Alexander, Caleb Alexander, Kyrssa Alexander, Justis Alexander.
