Valture "VJ" Aydell Jr, went to be with the Lord on the 17th of December in 2024 at his home. He was 80 years old. Resident and native of Maurepas, LA, he is survived by his partner of 42 years, Christine Valentine; his grandchildren, Brittany (CC), Justin, Kayla (Gary), Jolie (Billy), and Jennifer (Alex); great-grandchildren, Bailey, Destiney, Michael, Valina, Braxton, Paisley, Bentley, Dallas, and Weston. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph "JV" J. Aydell Sr, and Viola Vicknair Aydell; son Duane Aydell; brother, Thomas "Tommy" Aydell; and great grandson, Matthew Barney. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Compassus Hospice.
