Lisa gained her angel wings on November 8, 2024.
Lisa was loving, caring, smart and never met a stranger. She was dearly loved by all of her family and devoted friends.
Lisa is survived by her dedicated wife Katerina and her mother Marylene Bourgeois. She is also survived by her siblings and their spouses- Russ and Brenda Bourgeois, Eric and Mandy Bourgeois, Ben Bourgeois and Claire Austin and Lori and Randy Moore. Lisa is preceded in death by her loving father Aelred “Buzzy” Bourgeois. She was adored by her nieces and nephews and her great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Lisa’s life that will be held at the VFW Hall at 42430 Churchpoint Road, Gonzales, LA. This event will be held on Friday November 22, 2024 from 2 PM to 7 PM. Food and refreshments will be provided. Since pink stands for breast cancer, we prefer that no one wears pink for this occasion..
Special thanks for the excellent care Lisa received from Hospice of BR and to her numerous friends that stepped up during her time of need.
