Our beloved mother and grandmother, Elenora Neel Saltzberg, passed away at her home on September 11, 2024, at the age of 76. She lived a beautiful life full of love, laughter and resilience. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be dearly missed. She left a legacy of love, joy, kindness, gratitude, and silver linings.

Our mother was the heart of our family and home. She devoted her life to being a mother, and we cherish all of the wonderful memories that we made together. From family dinners and camping trips to Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations – she always tried to fill our lives with her love. You could always find her in the kitchen cooking and baking. Everyone loved her famous cookies, bread and cinnamon rolls – and she loved to share her passion with friends and family.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Dale Saltzberg. She is survived by her four children, Rachel, Sarah (James), Rebecca (Jacque) and David (Erika) and her grandchildren. She loved being a grandmother and was so very proud of her six grandchildren- Tyler, Caleb, Riley, Dale, Flynn and Sequoia. She was so very happy to be a part of her oldest grandson Tyler’s wedding in March to Brooke. Her grandchildren will never forget the love she brought to their lives. She is also survived by her 7 siblings, Sidonia Senac, Edward, Bruce, Clyde, Robert, Morris and Mark Neel.

To celebrate her life and the love she spread, a memorial will be held at the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center on October 5, 2024, at 6pm.

May her memory be a blessing.
