Bernice (Betty) Ann David Pruett, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on May 1, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born on November 10, 1942, in Oscar, LA, to Joseph Lafayette David and Agnes St. Romain. She was a beloved mother, daughter, and wife to the love of her life, the late Nathan Roy Pruett. Her most joy was visiting and playing with her grandchildren. She will be truly missed.
Betty is survived by her children, Bridgett Ann Valega Arvel, David Roy Valega (Jonette), and Lari Ann Pruett Seguin; grandchildren, Jason Arvel, Jessica Marie Valega, Joshua Arvel, Brandon Nathan Brock, Victoria Valega LeBlanc (Jared), and Dakota Wayne Brock; great-grandchildren, Justen Jones, Jumyria Jones, Jason Arvel Jr, Nicole Arvel, William Jones, Tristin Arvel, Stevi Arvel, Carson LeBlanc, Trinity Arvel, and Cameron LeBlanc; and 1 great-great grandchild, DeMiri Renard Moore; brother, Dennis David.
Preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Roy Pruett; daughter Ginger Marie Valega; parents, Joseph Lafayette David and Agnes St. Romain Munson; adopted mother, Laura Goudeau; sisters, Shirley Gauthier and Mary Tracy; brothers, Jimmy David, Harold David, Joseph Stanley David, and Wesley David.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 1PM, Greenoaks Memorial Park Cemetery, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA.
Pallbearers will be Jason Arvel, Brandon Brock, Dakota Brock, Justen Jones, William Jones, Carson LeBlanc, and Jared LeBlanc.
