Barry John Comeaux, a lifelong resident of Lakeland, LA, passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 54. Barry was born on June 28, 1969, to Leonce and Rosa Comeaux and is survived by them along with his daughters, Alyssa (Andrew) Olinde, Lauren Smith (Hayden Dickinson), grandchildren, Addison, Ayden, and Lawsyn Olinde, siblings, Donna Patterson (Will), Monica Jarreau (Ronnie) and Bobby Comeaux (Suzanne), lifelong friend, Kyle Olinde, and wife, Heather Comeaux.
Barry loved his children, grandchildren, family, and was an avid hunter who loved spending time at Camp Boudreaux hunting, cooking, and boiling crawfish. If he wasn’t at Camp Boudreaux, he would be painting, racing, or watching Nascar with his friends. Barry was a very passionate painter and was very well known for his exceptional work.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 12369 Highway 416, Lakeland, LA 70752, on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 9AM until 11AM. The funeral Mass will follow at 11AM.
Pallbearers are Booby Comeaux, Evan Comeaux, Kyle Olinde, Andrew Olinde, Hayden Dickinson, and Mike Comeaux. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Jarreau and Will Patterson.
